The United States has led the world in innovation, development and marketing of wireless services, from cellular mobile services to satellite systems and space exploration. A key part of that leadership is brain power. To maintain our dominance in wireless technologies, we must foster in the next generation of spectrum engineers, managers and policy experts.

SpectrumX, the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) Spectrum Innovation Center, is the first national center in the United States for wireless spectrum research and the world’s largest academic hub where all radio spectrum stakeholders can innovate, collaborate, and contribute to maximizing US spectrum innovation and leadership.
NSF SpectrumX focuses on educating the next generation and building the spectrum workforce of the future through accessible, high-quality science and technology programming with the most advanced knowledge developed by Center experts across the ecosystem. NSF SpectrumX currently offers open access to a variety of educational resources on its website, including lesson plans and online courseware.
